Hey! Looking for an illustrator?
Well I hope you are! I’m Adriana (but you can call me Ri), graphic designer and illustrator based in Exeter, Devon. I work with many types of clients, like small businesses, authors and anyone who needs illustration work.
Does my art have a message? You could say that. It’s my own mark on this world, but it’s also free to interpretation. It ‘fits’ everyone. I like it when people find beauty in the most ordinary or eccentric artwork. At the same time, it doesn’t have to mean anything, like Jackson Pollock said: “If people would just look at the paintings, I don’t think they would have any trouble enjoying them. It’s like looking at a bed of flowers, you don’t tear your hair out over what it means.”
So enjoy! Celebrate the local, the old, the new, the eccentric, the ordinary.

Commissions
You can contact me directly if you want me to create some art for you.
Let me know what kind of illustration you prefer, send me a link or any kind of reference (including any of my works). You can also request a digital portrait of yourself or a favorite character(s), cartoon/anime style art. No NSFW though.

- Half payment before starting and the other half before delivering the completed work.
- I will contact you via email within 12 hours and commissions usually take 5-7 days to complete (might be able to work with short deadlines depending on the type of drawing and amount of work i already have)
- You can get 1-2 sample revisions on request. If you need more, I will ask for up to half the sale price. Once your commission is completed, you will receive your image (via email, westransfer or your preferred method) in web and print format.
- Feel free to use my art however you like, but I would like to be credited with the work. I can only refund if I have not started any work.
- Prices can be negotiated depending on complexity and other factors.
I retain the right to refuse any commission if i can’t do it or for any other reason and will let you know ASAP.

About Me
I’m your friendly neighborhood artist. Most of the time, you can find me drinking coffee and working on my latest drawing, which I will probably revise 15 times today.
My hobbies include eating (will never refuse chocolate cake), reading, going to the movies, travelling and hour long discussions about something very nerdy, with great enthusiasm. I love going to parties, but I’m in a complicated relationship with sleep, so will probably choose that instead.
I like to think that everything I do can be considered art. Because art doesn’t have a definition. I started drawing when I was 3. Fortunately, I didn’t stop being an artist once I grew up. For me, art is freedom. I never have to feel trapped in a certain style, or be obsessed with success.
Art is something I rediscover everyday, again and again.
